Josh Lewis is the President and CEO of the Eastern North Carolina Alliance as well as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with more than 15 years of experience in economic, business, and workforce development. He has worked with local and regional organizations in North Carolina and Virginia. He has previously held leadership and development roles with the Mount Rogers Regional Partnership, Virginia Economic Development Partnership, United Way, and Goodwill Industries. During his career, Josh has helped to announce more than 5,000 jobs and approximately $2 billion in capital investment.
Dr. Virginia Hardy, Chief VP Inclusion & Belonging Officer at ECU Health, champions equity and belonging across operations. With 30+ years in education, she has served as a teacher, counselor, and administrator, including Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Interim Chief Diversity Officer at East Carolina University. Passionate about leadership and empowerment, she drives strategic initiatives for positive change. Dr. Hardy holds degrees from UNC Chapel Hill, East Carolina University, and North Carolina State University.
